Hi, my name is Dawson McClure, and I'm currently an undergraduate in Computer Science at the University of Oklahoma. Looking back, I have always been intrigued by how computers work. In 7th grade, my teacher, Mr. Z, told me that one day I could be a great software developer. I told him there was no chance because I was destined for Broadway. He had a better read on the situation, it seems.

Throughout high school, my passion for acting dwindled as my interest in Computer Science became more than just a hobby. I began taking AP Computer Science classes in my junior year, and I haven’t regretted a moment of it.

These days, my interest in CS only continues to grow, and with a recent infatuation with AI, I can’t wait to see what the future holds.
